Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3+ years of current mammography experience for an acute care hospital setting.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the Mammography department
- Performs duties of Staff Radiologic Technologist in Briner Imaging and Medical Office Building Radiology services under general supervision of a Radiologist
- Conducts daily operations of the department
- Uses Epic EMR
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with rotation including 1 Saturday per month
- Days and weekends required, with a minimum of one weekend day per week expected
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with current active work in the field required
- Completion of a Radiologic Technologist Program approved by JRCERT with a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent
- Required: ARRT certification, BLS/CPR certification, and CRT certification for general radiography
- Preferred: current mammography certification in California and through ARRT
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Candidates should have consistent, recent hands-on mammography experience rather than inactive licensure
- Minimum assignment length preferred at 12 weeks with option to renew after 8 weeks
