Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience for a hospital-based Cardiac Interventional Radiology position.

Details

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
Day shift, 4x10 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM with rotating day off
Call requirement includes one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month, plus one weekend every 6 weeks alternating between primary and backup
Uses Siemens imaging equipment
Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of IR experience required
Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
State license required if applicable
Proficient in using Siemens equipment
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references required, with at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

Perform interventional radiology and cardiac interventional procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, and vascular studies
Operate Siemens imaging equipment effectively and maintain accurate patient records preferably in Epic
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
Preferred experience in community hospital and Trauma Level I settings
First-time travelers are accepted, provided they have prior IR experience
Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6 months away from the facility
Current facility employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this location
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
RTO must be submitted with application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines
