Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU/CCU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring critical care experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
Details
- 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
- Patient ratios of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments
- Unit staffing includes monitor tech, with additional tech support based on census
- Uses Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Documentation via Meditech
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week scheduling requirement
- Floating required in rotation with core staff
- Central line and dialysis catheter insertion procedures performed on unit
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification
- Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivation required
- No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required

- Team-oriented environment with a mix of experienced day and night shift staff
- Flexible scheduling options available
- Scrubs required in any color; no denim, capris, or camouflage permitted
- Unit has been recognized with a Daisy Award for a Critical Care RN and participates in community initiatives such as making blankets for hospice patients
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
