Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2 years of experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic patients
Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend rotation required
Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work
Uses Epic EHR

Requirements

Active WI or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
HS diploma required
Rehab and med surg experience required
Skilled nursing experience preferred
AHA certifications required
Strong customer service skills preferred

Additional Information

Provide specialized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
Facility is CARF-accredited for Stroke Specialty, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Amputation Specialty Programs
Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
