Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with active NH or Compact RN license and 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience for a 12-hour day shift float position.
Details
- Float/Resource Pool role covering Tele and Stepdown units
- 12-hour day shift schedule
- May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia and Concord Hospital-Franklin
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- ACLS certification preferred
- 1-2 years minimum Med/Surg experience required
- Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
- Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
Additional Information
- Weekly orientation provided
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
- Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
