Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT(N) or NMTCB registration to support general and cardiac nuclear imaging.

Details

  • Hospital setting with X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine services
  • No trauma designation; TJC Stroke accredited facility
  • Department serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patients
  • Performs general and cardiac nuclear imaging studies
  • Average of 7-10 studies per day with average inpatient census of 400
  • 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 0700-1530
  • Rotating weekend on-call every 3rd weekend, 8 hours (0700-1400, Sat & Sun only)
  • No floating required
  • Uses Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
  • Department equipment includes GE Infinia and GE Ventri

Requirements

  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB registration required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • PET/CT experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Last 4 of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
  • Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the last year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Support from Guest Services/Transport for inpatient, observation, and ED patients
  • Radiology Nursing support provided for cardiac imaging
  • Administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) takes 1 day, followed by 2 days to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
  • Travelers will work 75% of holidays
  • Black scrub color required
  • Free parking available in surface lot and parking decks
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Traveler's permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
  • Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
