Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Coronary position requiring at least one year of ICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Coronary unit of a hospital setting
- Schedule consists of 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 0700-1930
- Weekend shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Uses Epic for clinical documentation
Requirements
- Active RN license (Single State or CO Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all AHA, must not expire before start date)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Conduct health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment for patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Monitor and review ongoing treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation as needed
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible
