Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for an acute care cardiac cath lab, requiring 2+ years of experience and RCIS certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms
- Assist physicians with heart catheterization procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker placements, and ablations
- Utilizes Epic charting system, MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impella devices, and Carto mapping system
- 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend
- Late team rotation 1-2 times per week to complete late procedures as needed
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- RCIS certification via CCI preferred; ARRT/CRT certification with cath lab scrub cross-training also considered
- 2-5 years of cath lab experience preferred
- Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures required
- EP procedure experience preferred
- Proficient in sterile technique
- Epic EMR experience
- License required if applicable

- Sanford-issued scrubs provided
- Unit-specific training and orientation details discussed during interview
- Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility considered at a reduced rate
