Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- MRI unit with 1 GE 1.5T Discovery 450 scanner and 1 table
- 1:1 patient ratios
- EMR system is Meditech
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No on-call requirements
- Must be willing to work weekends and nights
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- BLS and ARRT certification required (license required if applicable)
- ACLS preferred but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Critical thinking, flexibility, and adaptability required
Additional Information
- Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures without the use of X-rays
- Scrub color requirement is all black
- Facility is accredited by the Joint Commission and designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center
- Facility has received a 5-star recipient rating for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
