Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level III Trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT certification and 2+ years of IR experience.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma teaching hospital
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with variable scheduling
- Weekend and call rotation required
- Must be willing to float within the hospital or affiliated campuses based on staffing needs
- Charting is done in Epic
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- Active state or Compact license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
- Must obtain ACLS certification and pass the EKG exam prior to start
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No background or license actions within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the main campus are not eligible
- Maximum of 4 days RTO permitted, with additional restrictions at manager's discretion
- Only one major holiday RTO request permitted
- Radiology assignments are exempt from standard extension limits
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- All callouts for scheduled shifts will be required to be made up as deemed necessary by the department
