Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring EPIC experience and a 1:4 patient ratio.

• General Emergency Department serving combined adult/pediatric patients
• 1:4 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
• Weekends and holidays required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Military-issued certifications accepted; AHA preferred; ARC not accepted
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• State-issued ID required for consideration
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and psychiatric emergencies
• Facility is STEMI and Stroke certified
• Skills such as triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and 12-lead EKG interpretation are utilized
• Navy scrubs required and not provided
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 non-consecutive days, with only one holiday RTO request approved during Nov-Jan
• All RTO must be approved by management prior to contract signing
• Local candidates within 90 miles are accepted at a lower rate
