Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certification for an outpatient setting.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting
- Rotating weekly schedule alternating Mon/Tues/Wed and Wed/Thurs/Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 24 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- No weekend shifts
- Uses Hologic 3D equipment
- Cerner charting system, experience preferred
- Must be willing to float based on facility census and staffing needs
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
- X-ray tech experience preferred
- 1:1 patient ratio experience
- Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
- Proficiency in digital quality assurance procedures
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital mammography
- Wine-colored scrubs required
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted
- Candidates requesting holiday RTO must be willing to work one of the three major holidays
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for three years before returning as a traveler
