Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Home Hospice Case Manager position requiring hospice experience and an active VA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Home hospice case manager role within a hospice unit
  • Manages a census of roughly 35-45 patients
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Floating may be requested based on facility needs
  • Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

  • Active VA RN license or proof of compact license required in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Hospice experience required, home hospice case management strongly preferred
  • No minimum years of experience required
  • EPIC charting experience preferred
  • Specialty experience within the last year required

Additional Information

  • Serves as case manager coordinating home hospice patient care
  • Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
  • Prior permanent employees must have separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to travel
  • RTO requests should be minimal, ideally no full calendar weeks off and no more than 7 days total during the assignment
  • All RTO must be submitted with the initial application, with no additional requests approved after an offer is extended
  • Candidates may not work both a Riverside travel assignment and a Riverside per diem contract simultaneously
