Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring servo vent, intubation, and sedation experience at a Level II trauma pediatric hospital.

Details

• Work in a 32-bed PICU within a large pediatric hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:2 across day, night, and weekend shifts
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Float required, with travelers prioritized to float first, typically to NICU or CCU but potentially to Med/Surg
• Cares for typical medical/surgical ICU patients who are non-cardiac, including respiratory, trauma, and neuro cases

Requirements

• Active Nebraska RN license or RN Compact license required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification required
• Diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• Level II trauma experience required
• Large pediatric hospital experience required
• Servo vent, intubation, and sedation experience required
• Epic experience preferred
• CPN or CCRN certification preferred
