Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift community hospital position requiring 2 years of experience and NRP certification.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics department
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Meditech EMR experience required
• High patient-to-clinician ratios with frequent floating within the hospital, in accordance with floating policies and Joint Commission standards
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Valid SC state license required (license required if applicable)
• Certifications: BLS, CRT, NRP, and RRT required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Meditech charting system experience required

Additional Information

• Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients across critical care, emergency, and NICU settings
• Perform ventilator management, airway management, ABG interpretation, and various respiratory therapy procedures
• Skilled in medication delivery systems and administration for respiratory conditions
• Experience with neonatal/pediatric equipment and procedures including CPAP, intubation assist, and high-risk delivery support
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates not accepted
• Facility will not accept candidates with any background or licensure issues
• Previous employees must have been gone at least 1 year and in good standing at time of departure
• Minimal to no RTO approved, especially during the first weeks of the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
