Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technician requiring ARRT certification and 1-3 years of experience for a radiology unit position.
Details
- Radiology department setting
- Tues-Sat schedule with Tues-Fri 7a-3p and Sat 3p-11p shifts
- 40 hours per week
- On-call required
- Uses EPIC EMR and Sectra PACS system
- GE imaging equipment
- Potential to float to sister hospital nearby
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography School
- Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Additional Information
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain equipment and assess patient safety, comfort, and procedure needs
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed
- Stay current on trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology
- Accepts local candidates
