Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 1-3 years of experience and ARRT certification to work in a radiology department using GE equipment and Epic charting.

Sun-Thurs schedule with Sun 3p-11p and Mon-Thurs 10a-6p shifts
On-call requirement
Uses GE imaging equipment
EMR: Epic
PACS: Sectra
Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
ARRT certification required
NJDEP certification required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Graduate of an accredited radiography school
NJ State RT license required if applicable
Knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, and troubleshooting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics

Additional Information

Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
Maintain equipment and assess patient safety, procedure, and comfort throughout imaging processes
Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures and revisions as needed
Accepts local candidates at a lower rate
