Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification, with call responsibilities.

Details

Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a cardiac care service line that includes Cath Lab, EP Lab, and CV Observation
Unit performs caths, angioplasty, interventions, ablations, device procedures, TEEs, and cardioversions
1st shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts per week
Call required

Requirements

Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required
ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
At least 2 years of experience in a busy cath lab preferred

Additional Information

Deliver whole-person, patient-centered nursing care focused on healing and wellness
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and coordination across the nursing process
Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members and delegate tasks appropriately
Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
