Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehabilitation Unit, requiring GA state licensure and 1+ year of relevant experience.

Details

• Rehabilitation Unit within a 304-bed, full-service hospital, home to a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU
• Patient caseload of 8-11 patients per therapist per day
• Treats orthopedic, debility, spinal cord, neurological, multi-trauma, fracture, post-op, and cardiac patients
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Day shift schedule, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week, with shift options of 5x8s or 4x10s
• 13-week schedule cycle with a consistent day off throughout the assignment
• No floating, weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Active PT license in the state of Georgia required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Skilled in treating orthopedic, debility, spinal cord, neurological, multi-trauma, fracture, post-op, and cardiac patient populations
• EPIC EMR experience helpful
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, or Director
• License required if applicable

• Rehab department has a supportive team of 20+ therapists and aides with on-site administration
• Orientation includes facility-wide NEO plus 3-5 days of departmental training depending on experience
• Scrub color required is light grey from an approved list
• Free on-site parking provided
• Open to first-time travelers
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule for GA facilities, offering the same rate for local travelers
• Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved if the traveler participates in clinical interviewing and extends the contract
