Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Clinic setting requiring at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting treating general orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Average daily census of 10 with a 1:1 staffing ratio
• Documentation completed in WellSky and Epic
• Uses SBAR communication system with unit secretary support
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm or 9:30am-6:00pm (3x per week)
• No call or weekend shifts required
• Float to a nearby facility (about 15 minutes away) required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with AROM/AAROM/PROM, assistive devices, pain assessment, and strength testing
• Proficiency in documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and short/long term goals
• Knowledge of home exercise programs and patient/family education
