Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg/Telemetry RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active IA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Details

• Medical Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Telemetry unit within a regional hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 3x12 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required across local campuses within the same discipline
• Common medication drips include heparin, cardizem, nitro, non-DKA insulin, and amiodarone
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active IA RN license or compact license required; IL license required at time of offer
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• New grads accepted
• At least one completed travel contract preferred
• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Valid driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team delivering professional nursing care and clinical management to Med/Surg and Med/Surg/Telemetry patients
• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center
• Must not have been employed by the facility's health system within the past 12 months
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
