Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient mammography setting within a short term acute care, teaching hospital
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating between units required for this role, though floating between sister facilities nearby may be expected
- Charting completed in Epic
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist required
- ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- Oregon state license required if applicable, compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Epic charting experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Skilled in 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsy
- Experience with Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment preferred
- PACS experience required
Additional Information
- Perform a range of mammography procedures including screening, diagnostic, and 3-D mammograms, along with stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations
- Scrubs of any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs provided
- No parking fee
- Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
- Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Two supervisory references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
- First-time travelers may be considered if travel experience requirement is met
