Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and familiarity with Hologic equipment for a short-term acute care facility.
Details
- Short term acute care hospital setting with 418 staffed beds
- Mammography department serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- Performs 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
- Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
- Uses Epic for charting
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No weekends, on-call, or block schedules required
- No floating between units required at this facility, though floating between sister facilities may be expected
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist required
- ARRT R and Mammography-ARRT certifications required
- BLS certification required
- Oregon state license required if applicable
- Biopsy experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Hologic equipment required
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required
- Former employees of the facility may return after a 3-month waiting period
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower bill rate
- Any color scrubs accepted
