Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool night shift position requiring cardiac and telemetry experience plus a VA or compact RN license.
Details
- Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Acute care patient population with average patient ratios of 1:7
- Night shift schedule, 3x12's from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Requires floating to other units as needed
- Every other weekend and holiday work required
- No on-call requirements
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Cardiac experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Float pool role supporting nursing needs across multiple units within the facility
- Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
- May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two RTO days considered for holidays
- Candidates may be considered within a 50-mile radius in lieu of the standard 65-mile radius rule
- No block scheduling can be accommodated for this assignment
- Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for nine consecutive years
