Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of cardiac Med/Surg Tele experience and previous travel assignment history.
Details
- Float Pool position within a 495-bed Level II Trauma Center
- Acute care patient population with average patient ratio of 1:7
- Uses EPIC EMR (required)
- 3x12-hour day shifts (6:45a-7:15p)
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Required to float to other units
- No block scheduling available
Requirements
- Active RN license - VA State License or Compact required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only, must not expire within 30 days of start)
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience required
- Cardiac experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Work in a facility recognized for 9 consecutive years with an "A" grade in Patient Safety
- Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
- May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two days considered for holiday RTO
- Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
