Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring MT or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours/week)
- Uses EPIC for clinical documentation
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
Requirements
- Active RN license (MT or compact) required, no pending licenses accepted
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the Cath Lab specialty required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for cardiac cath lab patients
- Provides health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient recovery
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
