Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring MA RN licensure and 2+ years of med/surg experience.
Details
- Float Pool position covering medsurg and telemetry units
- Hospital setting caring for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Med/surg ratios of 5:1 (7a-11p) and 6:1 (11p-7a)
- Telemetry ratios of 4:1 (7a-11p) and 5:1 (11p-7a)
- 12-hour rotating shifts (day/night), 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Self-scheduling model with schedule balanced by management
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- 2+ years of med/surg RN experience required
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
Additional Information
- Float between medsurg and telemetry units as needed
- Only one requested holiday time-off will be accommodated
- Special scheduling requests may be accommodated when possible
- Returning BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must complete a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- No separation from BILH required for current travelers
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
