Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license and ACLS certification.
Details
- Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 0700-1930, working 36 or 48 hours per week
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
- Current ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required
- Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab specialty experience required, with recent experience within the last 3 months
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse action or restriction on nursing license permitted
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs nursing staff activities while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnoses, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and effective care
- Participates in discharge planning to support continuity of care
- Provides patient and family education as part of care delivery
- Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
