Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP RN for a 12-week day shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and call coverage.

Details

• Cath Lab unit with 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
• Weekend coverage included as part of call requirements
• Floating required within facility/scope of practice and to Piedmont Macon North Hospital as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted for this unit
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

Additional Information

• Max 7 days RTO allowed, with RTO requests required at time of submission
• Holiday coverage required per facility policy: if 1-2 major holidays fall within the assignment, all must be worked with no RTO permitted; if 3 major holidays occur, 2 must be worked and one holiday RTO request may be reviewed for approval
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before returning
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) are highly preferred at time of consideration
• No special scheduling requests or alternate shifts permitted; assigned shift is firm
• Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in a two-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
