Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 3 years of experience and current NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Acute Care Hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center setting
• Labor and Delivery unit
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:30-7:00
• Weekend requirement: 16 shifts per contract
• No on-call requirements
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, will not take patients, helping hands, or sitter assignments
• No block scheduling accommodations
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS required; AWHONN Intermediate and STABLE preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• No travel experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum of two successful travel assignments required with no performance or attendance issues

Additional Information

• Max 5 total RTO days allowed during the 13-week assignment, with no additional time off after submittal or while on contract
• No RTO approved on holidays or the day before/after a holiday
• Facility maintains a zero-fault attendance policy where missed shifts, regardless of reason, count as unexcused and may result in warnings or cancellation
• Scrub color varies by unit
• Free parking available
• Locals accepted at the same rate as travelers
• No candidates with prior background or license issues will be considered
• Previous employment history with this facility, whether as a traveler or permanent staff, must be disclosed
