Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with stepdown experience for a night shift float position requiring an AR or compact RN license.

Details

• Float pool position supporting ER hold, overflow units, adult and geriatric psych, and inpatient rehab units
• May care for pediatric patients when floated to the ER depending on experience level
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week considered

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Stepdown experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and clinical leadership within the nursing team using a Shared Governance model
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, with automatic cancellation for a positive result
• Position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius, as local candidates are not accepted
• Facility-assigned training modules must be completed prior to or by the end of the first shift
