Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure, ACLS certification, and EPIC experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
• 36-48 hours per week
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience required, within the last three months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior disciplinary action on license allowed

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical and religious exemptions available
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
