Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and HCHB proficiency, along with a WA or compact RN license.

Details

• Home Health setting caring for a geriatric patient population
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Caseload of approximately 5-7 patients per day with 30 visits weekly
• All charting must be completed by 9:00 AM the following morning
• Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from the hub office, with flexibility expected across the territory
• On-call rotation may be required
• Monday orientation required, including billable modules

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent relevant Home Health experience required
• OASIS experience required for completing Start of Care assessments
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• Skilled in wound care, medication administration and management, IV and subcutaneous administration, phlebotomy, and infection control precautions

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include admission assessments, start of care, resumption of care, recertification, routine visits, and discharge documentation
• Timely communication and documentation with the care team is mandatory
• Dress code requires scrubs of any color, no jeans permitted
• Cell phone use is not permitted; an iPad is provided for work purposes
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
• Former permanent employees must be separated for a minimum of 6 months and approved by HR before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs are accepted, though each traveler will be assigned their own territory and must have their own transportation
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
