Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring MA RN licensure and NRP certification at a high-volume teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the LDRP unit of a teaching hospital with residents and attendings in house
- Unit performs approximately 4,300 deliveries per year
- Provides care to laboring and high-risk patients
- Unit includes a 3-room OR for cesarean sections
- Pod C (labor) has 16 beds, Pod B (high risk) has 11 beds, and Pod A (post-partum) has 11 beds
- Night shift schedule of 1900-0730, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
- Weekend rotation every other weekend, with Friday/Saturday nights on night shift
- On-call required once every 6 weeks in addition to regular schedule
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and CPR certification required
- Minimum of 2 years labor & delivery experience preferred
- High-risk L&D experience preferred
