Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with 2+ years of acute hospital and home care experience and certified home health/OASIS proficiency for a 13-week assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

Details

• Home Health setting providing direct patient care in clients' residences
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• MA Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Active BLS certification (AHA) required
• 2+ years of acute hospital-based nursing care and home care experience required
• Certified home health experience with proficiency in OASIS required
• Valid driver's license required
• Must have own vehicle for home visits
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Acute care experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a fit test using an N95 mask (PAPRs not available for home health use)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
• Skills checklist for Physical Therapist current within 1 year required

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing physical therapy services and direct patient care to home health clients
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in developing and executing the patient's comprehensive plan of care
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Mileage reimbursement provided only to/from the TOR office and/or drop/satellite office, not from traveler's home
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted, and all RTO must be confirmed prior to submission
