Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient Infusion Therapy clinic, requiring chemotherapy/biotherapy certification and recent Epic experience.
Details
- Outpatient infusion clinic within an Adult Hematology/Oncology unit
- 8-chair clinic setting treating adult patients ages 18-100
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
- 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, Monday through Sunday scheduling
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating or charge nurse responsibilities
- Uses Epic documentation system
Requirements
- Active VT RN license or compact license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Oncology/Infusion specialty required
- Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required
- Outpatient clinic experience in Infusion/Oncology setting required
- Training in administering chemotherapy in a clinic setting required
- Epic experience within the past 2 years required
Additional Information
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to adult oncology patients in an outpatient setting
- Must work 2 of the 4 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day
- Scrubs of any color permitted; nail polish not allowed
- Reliable personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended due to lack of public transportation in the area
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
- Local candidates accepted
