Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night-shift Ultrasound Technologist for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring ARDMS and RVT certification.
Details
- Pediatric hospital ultrasound department
- Night shift schedule: Friday 10:00 AM-10:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
- Responsible for obtaining diagnostic sonographic images for radiologist review
- Manages data, physician order reconciliation, patient transport, and result accountability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- ARDMS certification and RVT certification required
- Current BLS certification via AHA
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience at a dedicated pediatric hospital and/or Pediatric Sonography (PS) Board Certification preferred
- Completion of 1 full travel assignment preferred
- Experience at a facility of comparable size to the assigned location required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Produces and evaluates diagnostic images to assist radiologists with timely interpretation for patient treatment
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate
- First-time travelers may be considered given preference for prior travel experience
