Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift hospital assignment requiring at least one year of combined MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• MS/Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Options for 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 schedules available

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent MS/Tele experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for consideration
• Co-worker references are not accepted
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with a maximum of two attempts

Additional Information

• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Background check hits of any kind are reviewed, and open cases will not be accepted
• No license hits accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may only be submitted for one position at a time within this health system
