Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a remote hospital setting on a day-shift schedule, requiring an active Oregon OT license (if applicable).

• Rehabilitation Therapy department in a remote hospital setting
• Monday through Thursday schedule, 40 hours per week, day shift
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Current, active Oregon Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational/Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current valid Oregon driver's license required
• Current CPR certification required
• Experience preferred but not required if educational and licensure requirements are met
• Thorough knowledge of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation practices
• Basic computer skills including document handling and email communication

Additional Information

• Evaluate, plan, and provide treatment based on physician referrals
• Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries using modalities such as exercise, massage, heat, cold, light, water, electricity, or sound
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare team regarding patient abilities and goals
• Facility is located in a remote area, with the nearest major airport 3-4 hours away
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required due to close-knit facility environment
