Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift acute care position requiring Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Acute unit setting
- Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in state of practice required
- BLS certification required (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Holiday RTO will not be approved
- Required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
