Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN with advanced telemetry experience for a 12-hour night shift contract requiring an active NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 shifts per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Uses Cardizem and Insulin drips (insulin for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and Phenobarbital on telemetry
• May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Franklin & Concord Hospital on an emergency basis only
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2+ years of acute care experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• 2 recent Charge/Manager RN references matching specialty required (no peer references)
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• NURSYS report and verification of all active RN licenses required
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Care for Med/Surg patients requiring advanced telemetry monitoring
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered
• Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at the local rate
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
