Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for night shift acute care float coverage requiring an AR or Compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Float across acute care nursing units
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Critical care experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Active AR or Compact State RN license in good standing, in-hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred; candidates with no experience must complete a residency program
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team across float assignments
• Apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through a Shared Governance model
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture
• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
