Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• Radiology department in a 298-bed teaching hospital
• Weekend schedule with two 16-hour shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM), totaling 32 hours
• Weekend and possible holiday coverage required
• Possible on-call requirements, with call coverage after midnight
• Approximate ratio of 9 patients per shift
• Always works alongside another Tech Aide or MRI Tech, never solo
• Uses GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• License required if applicable
• Must be willing to work weekends, evenings, and take call as needed
• Must have own vehicle
• Skills checklist for MRI current within 1 year required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration

Additional Information

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation provided
• Candidates must be willing to work two required holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and following weekend
• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted during the assignment, with less being preferred
• All RTO requests must be finalized prior to submission, as requests after offer may not be approved
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
