Description
American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night-shift float pool role requiring 2 years of ICU experience and Epic charting proficiency.
Details
- Float pool position covering all ICUs including MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU
- Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
- Patient ratio of 1:2
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required
- No call requirements
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPI
- Epic charting experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Broad ICU skill set including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT/CVVHD, and management of cardiac, neuro, renal, and respiratory patients
Additional Information
- Care for critically ill patients across multiple ICU specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, and burn units
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Strict 5-day maximum RTO policy
- Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at local rate
- Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
