Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Case Manager with BSN, CCM, and acute care experience for a 10-week assignment on an orthopedic unit.

Details

• Case Management position located on an orthopedic unit
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5x8-hour shifts
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations, must be able to work all 7 days
• Epic charting system preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• 3-5 years of RN experience required
• BSN and BLS required
• CCM certification required for consideration
• Acute care experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 2 professional references required for consideration, one of which must be a Nurse Manager or higher

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, and DME ordering
• Familiarity with CMS and HIPAA regulatory guidelines expected
• Must complete a Pass/Fail Telemetry test during orientation with an 80% passing score and only one attempt allowed
• Must also complete a Pass/Fail Medication exam at orientation
• Candidates with prior disciplinary action on their nursing license will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate within a 75-mile radius
• Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system
• Up to 14 days of RTO can be submitted for review, with no RTO allowed during the first week
