Description
American Traveler is hiring an OR RN with Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience for a day-shift position with call coverage requirements.
Details
- Work in one of five Operating Room suites, with a sixth located in the labor and delivery department
- Diverse surgical population including inpatients and outpatients, ages infant to geriatric
- Surgical services primarily focused on ortho and trauma, with additional cases in ENT, cataract removal, and C-sections
- Willingness to train for ENT, cataract, and C-section procedures if not already experienced
- RN patient ratio of 1:1
- OR team includes RNs, registered nurse first assists, CSTs, and other assistive personnel
- Day shift schedule at 40 hours per week
- Call required for evenings, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last 2 years
Additional Information
- Provide direct perioperative care within a collaborative surgical services team
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
