Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an SSSU/PACU position requiring strong Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy and Infusion skills.
Details
- Rotates through the Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
- Provides conscious sedation support for special hospital procedures
- 4x10 Day Shift schedule with variable hours
- Shared on-call rotation required
Requirements
- Active WA or compact RN license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Minimum 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion required
Additional Information
- Perform peri-operative nursing assessment, education, and care
- Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Float across Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic as needed
