Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least one year of recent OR experience and an active ID or compact RN license.
Details
- Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (ID state or compact)
- BLS certification required, AHA or ARC accepted, with no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in the Operating Room specialty
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates will not be considered

Pros
Management is willing to work with RTO pretty easily. GE machines are easy to use and proximity of ER with CT is set up nicely.
Cons
Communication with management is sometimes awful. Especially with contract extensions. HR also did not pay me for a day due to a missed punch. Instead of contacting me about issues, they just didnt pay me and it took two months to resolve that missing pay.
