Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with Meditech and TNCC experience for a Level II Trauma Emergency Department on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in the Main ED and PBED of a Level II Trauma Emergency Department with 37 beds
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4 in zone
• Uses GE monitors and the Meditech EMR system
• Floating may be required to care for ED patients admitted to hospital holding in the ED
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week period with no on-call requirement

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the ER specialty required
• Meditech EMR experience required
• HCA and Meditech experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Deliver high caliber patient care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma ED
• Ideal candidates are high energy, self-motivated, and amicable
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue top and bottom
• Candidates must be available for an ASAP start date
• Minimal PTO requests preferred given the urgent start timeline
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
