Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 1+ years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 39-bed Medical Surgical Combination unit at a Joint Commission accredited hospital
• Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infections
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Works every other weekend
• Floating required on weekends
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• 1+ years of RN experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility offers orthopedics, spine services, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, ED, and behavioral health services, along with 11 multi-specialty physician clinics
• Facility includes a Chest Pain Center
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule with upcoming start dates
